Gund ka Ladu (Dink ladu,Edible Gum ladus)
Dink is a type of edible gum (gum cristals)white in colour.. If you roast in ghee, it will fluff up into white balls.
Dinka che ladus are highly nutritious and should be eaten in winters and not in summers as the gum generates heat in the body.Good for ladies especially pregnant women since it provide good strength.

Ingredients
- Sugar....... ......................2cups
- Cashew Nuts...................1/2 cup
- Badams..........................1/2up
- Walnuts..........................1/2cup
- Edible Gum (Gund).......... 1cup
- Ghee..............................1/2 cup
- Roasted Coconut.............1/2 cup
- Kajur (Dates)..................1/2 cup
- Water.............................1/4 cup
- Ginger Powder................1tsp
Method
- Heat a pan with ghee add the crushed edible gum and roast it till it becomes golden fluffy in a medium flame.
- Cut the dates into small. Roast the badam and nuts and powder them into fine.
- Heat another pan with little water add sugar to boil and becomes one thread consistency.
- Add all together and mix well and make balls with the help of little ghee while it is hot. It is very healthy sweet.
- This is a north Indian. sweet.
- You can use jaggery instead of sugar. you can add poppy seeds powder and methi powder.
I made this dink into cakes instead of ladus using the above method. Boil little longer time to form into cake form.
