Sabudana Kheer (ஜவ்வரிசி பாயசம்)(Tapioca pudding)

 This is very easy to prepare this dish.
Ingredients

  • Sabudana……………………1/2cup
  • Milk………………………..3cups
  • Sugar………………………¼ cup
  • Cardamom Powder…………1/2tsp
  • Saffron………………………1/2tsp
  • Cashew nuts…………………..6

Method 


  • Wash and soak the sabudana for 2 hours in water..
  • Boil the milk in heavy bottom pan for about 10 minutes.
  • Stir it very often. So that the milk does not stick to the bottom
  • Add the soaked sabudana and cook till the sabudana becomes soft.
  • Add cardamom, saffron and roasted cashew nuts. When it cools down it becomes thick.
